Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

Sure. I'm currently a research pharmacist at UCLA Health. Prior to my pharmacy experience, throughout college, I was a lab assistant.

I also worked as a sales representative for drug companies. Additionally, I took a hiatus to serve in the military in Korea as a medic.

After my pharmacy career, I started in retail pharmacy. There, I gained more knowledge of public health and which drugs were sold most frequently in local communities.

I wanted to advance my career at a larger institution, which led me to cancer research at UCLA Health.
