What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

For me, it's the freedom. I don't really need stuff; I'm not a big stuff guy. I leave that to my wife. I just like the freedom to be able to say yes to anything anytime I want.

You want to go here? Yep. I want to do that. I've kind of had this entrepreneurial itch, and it took me a long time to get there. I've tried different businesses.

Even when I met my wife, around 24 years old, we ordered this kit from a guy named Don Ree. He sold a kit where you could place ads in magazines and papers for a dating line and a psychic line. People would call, and you'd get a percentage. We thought we were going to be rich; we had this entrepreneurial spirit.

Of course, it didn't work. This guy made $50 million, but he got caught, went to jail, and committed suicide in jail. From the very beginning, we were looking for something. I've literally tried about seven different businesses that just didn't work.

You have to stick with it. And now that I've gotten here, I've always kind of had this feeling: I don't want to be in an office. I don't want to be tied down. I want the freedom to work for myself.

I want the freedom to say yes to anything I want at any time. So that's my favorite part.
