What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I love the reward of tangible results. Whether that's negotiating a really complex deal and getting to the end, and making sure it's a win-win for both us as a company and then not only the defense customer community but also making the world a safer place.
I really like the fact that there's a start and end to every project. There are also tangible results in the form of solving customer disputes.
So you have two parties that want different things and can't seem to find a path to reconcile them. My role specifically is to mediate that and find a solution that both parties are okay with at the end of the day.
My job and my team's job is really to enable those types of interactions. Then, zooming out a little bit, we help develop and sell defense systems to make the world a safer place.
Tangible results and the mission are really some of the two best things.
