What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
I think it's having to deal with tough decisions. Oftentimes, you are at the point of contact for a lot of issue decisions.
You have to make decisions quickly with limited information, and you have to trust the information that's coming in. For example, if a direct tells me certain information and that helps me make a high-level decision, I need to be able to trust my direct.
All forms of communication need to be clear. Sometimes those things get muffled or miscommunicated, and then there could be backlash. It can be difficult working with certain stakeholders.
Overall, having to make fast and difficult decisions quickly is probably one of the biggest challenges I see in my activities.
