What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider?

This one's more of a straightforward question. If you want to go into consulting, you can go to a consulting firm, and they have entry-level consulting jobs. If you're still in college, there are a lot of consulting internships, like summer internships.

If you can't do those and want to transition into the field, your next best bet is to do something business-related. Business analytics or business development would help you transfer into consulting.

Anything with a business title would be beneficial. Also, if that's not an option, but there's a specific section of the consulting industry you want to work in, like healthcare consulting, you should probably be working in that field.

Then it would be easier for you to say, "Hey, I have all this expertise in this specific industry. Let me be a consultant in that industry." That's another way to jump into the consulting sector.
