What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge in my current role is ensuring the client is happy while also advising them effectively to achieve their goals. In the consulting world, clients often hire us because they need help, but they don't always know exactly how.
There are times we try to encourage clients to charge their suppliers more or increase prices on something. However, they may be hesitant, fearing they're asking for too much.
It's our job to provide a data-driven approach, showing them that their competitors charge more or that their suppliers have higher margins. We help them see that solution.
Ultimately, it's a balance of helping clients without pushing them too hard, as they are the client at the end of the day.
