Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college, any internships or jobs you had before your current role?
I went to college for Natural Resources Management. As an undergrad, I was able to do a lot of research, which helped me get into graduate school.
I worked for a year doing odd jobs, mostly retail. Then I spent two years getting a Master of Science in Forest and Natural Resources Management.
From there, I went straight into a doctorate in New Ecology, which took five years. After that, I was applying for jobs and landed my current position. In between, I was doing some odd jobs like valet parking and substitute teaching, but also doing online content writing in the realm of ecology.
