What did you do in your undergraduate studies to set you up for success in your career?
In my case, I didn't do many extracurricular activities. I think what really helped me was choosing the right major.
I'm an Industrial Engineer, and in college, I learned about finance, marketing, operations, and how to come up with a new business. It was a pretty well-rounded learning experience that really helped me during my career path.
Even now as an MBA student, I'm revisiting topics I already learned in college. It's funny; I had my finance midterm yesterday, and it was about things I actually learned as an undergrad.
So, maybe my recommendation would be to be self-aware of what you want to do in life. Those decisions and the years you invest in school can really help you be successful in your future career.
