Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college and any internships or jobs you had before your current role?

Yes, for sure. I'm originally from Peru, where I was born and raised. There I studied industrial engineering.

After that, I started my career in the banking industry. One of my first jobs was at Falabella Bank, where I was a product analyst. I was responsible for increasing revenue for personal loan products.

After a couple of years there, I switched to BCP, which is the largest retail bank in Peru. There I worked in marketing, project management, and product management.

My last role before coming to business school was as a protocol owner. As a protocol owner, I led a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy a tool that estimates the financial impact of cybersecurity risks for the whole bank. This helped business leaders make better decisions in terms of risk management. After that, I came to UCLA Anderson to pursue my MBA.
