What is one lesson that you have learned that is proving significant in your career?

One lesson I'd like to share is that if you don't ask for something, you'll never get it. For me, this means having the courage to ask questions and to network internally. It's about being resourceful and trying different things to understand what you enjoy before committing too far down one path.

I think it's also important to be introspective. If something isn't working, don't be afraid to make a change. You'll be working for many years in your career, and if you're not happy, it will definitely affect your overall wellbeing.

So, ask for the raise, ask for the promotion. If you don't get it at first, develop a plan explaining why you deserve it and why you're the best candidate. Hone your skills to achieve that goal.
