Transcript

What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

Don't limit yourself. When I graduated with my undergraduate degree in studio art, I never would have imagined being a production accountant or having any idea that I could do anything with finance.

But I was presented with an opportunity, and I just kind of attacked it. It opened up a whole new world for me that I never thought was possible.

If you had told me as a senior that I would be heavy in numbers, I would have thought you were absolutely insane. So, don't limit yourself. Don't be afraid to fail.

Don't be afraid to try something new, even if it isn't in your wheelhouse.
