Entry-Level Positions for Aspiring Lawyers
To explore the legal field, undergraduate students should seek internships at law firms "to be around and to see what the life is like," gaining experience in administrative roles or as paralegals. Alternatively, a direct path into the field is pursuing law school immediately after undergraduate studies.

What entry-level positions might an undergraduate college student consider in this field?
An undergraduate college student interested in the legal field should try to explore that through an internship in law school. Try to find a way to work at a law firm in some capacity to be around and see what the life is like.
If you want to work at a law firm without being a lawyer, you can work in an administrative capacity or as a paralegal. There are a fair number of paralegals and administrative staff who do that.
Then you can make the decision, "Hey, I want to be a lawyer." The other way to get an entry-level position is to jump in and go to law school.
