How can someone break into the analytics field more easily?
For someone trying to enter the analytics field, I would strongly recommend developing a toolset on GitLab or GitHub to showcase your portfolio. When I went into my first analytics interview at 21, I didn't have a portfolio.
Showcasing what you know in Python and SQL, or presenting something you built or analyzed from scratch, can help you break into the field much more easily than someone who has a reference. Having something on Git would be very beneficial. I wish I had that when I started, instead of applying to 300 different companies. This would give you a head start in getting hired.
