Transcript

I have a transcript from a video. Someone asks a question at the beginning, and then someone provides a response.

As someone whose family has been predominantly traditional in engineering and legal fields, I kind of created my own path. I didn't follow what my parents, grandparents, and everyone else had done in terms of career.

I identified myself as a journalist first and then filled in the gaps. Luckily, UCL was able to support me. I was also able to get a great internship in between the years.

As someone who identifies as a non-conformist within my family, I think that has set me up for more happiness. It's certainly been better than if I had followed the traditional footsteps of my parents.
