What is one lesson that you have learned that has prevented significant [unclear] in your career?

One lesson I've learned, and I think it was solidified in the work that I do, is that students may be younger than you, but they are certainly not less than you.

Many adults walk around thinking that because they are older, they know more. You might have more experience in certain areas, and I totally understand that.

But don't let that lens stop you from learning from people who are younger than you. I have taught my students a lot over the years, and they have also taught me so much. They are incredible human beings, and I've learned so much from them.

So, I think the biggest lesson is that you can learn from anyone. It doesn't matter if they are younger or older than you, or if they come from a different background. You can learn from anyone in this world, if you just take the time to listen, hear them out, and see what they really have to say.
