What are your main responsibilities within your role?
My main responsibilities include collecting, verifying, and validating data. This data is pretty much our student data enrollment applications, reporting on trends, and also student outcomes.
So when a student graduates, we ask them what they're doing, which company they are working for, and how much they are making. When you graduate, we will send an email asking you to fill out a survey and let us know what you're doing.
All these initiatives inform our PDMs or professional managers. This helps them guide students in knowing which industries they are going into, as well as how much a graduate should be making. This information is also disseminated to the university and posted on the website.
I also work on rankings. I report out to US News, Bloomberg, and Fortune Magazine. This is so we can score higher on our national rankings for best business schools. It's another part of my job. I also work on numerous data projects around [unclear].
