Skills that are most important for a role like mine are similar across a lot of technical positions. You have to have the ability to truly listen to the end user about what their problems are, what their use case is, and how they would like to see things operate.
Oftentimes, you have to do a lot of digging into their opinions or their insights to find out what the true problems are. So, being inquisitive and being a great listener are some of the most beneficial skills that any individual in an engineering role can have.
