College Experiences That Helped A Broadcast Engineer At NPR Succeed
To achieve career success, Christian maximized opportunities by working at a collegiate recording studio and completing an internship at an AM radio station, even if it meant spreading oneself thin. This approach, as Christian states, allowed for valuable networking and ultimately "creat[ed] an opportunity for success."

Transcript
What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
I took every opportunity that was available to me. I worked at my college's recording studio and their broadcast facility.
I took an internship at a radio station, working the midnight shift. It was an AM radio station that nobody listened to. I said yes to every opportunity.
I ran the gamut and was exhausted, but I think that even though I spread myself thin, it was those experiences that allowed me to network and create an opportunity for success for myself.
