What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

My main responsibilities in this current role are twofold, which I like. I still have the sales portion of the role. As a senior sales manager, I manage contracts and relationships with some of our more prestigious customers and restaurant groups.

I also have people leadership responsibilities, which is what I enjoy doing most. I focus on building and enabling my team, having 12 direct reports.

This involves checking their work, spending time in the field with them, and going on ride-alongs. I teach them things, sit in on their business reviews with customers, and observe their pitches and contract renewal conversations. Afterward, I offer them tips on how I would approach these situations. So, those are the two main key responsibilities of this role.
