What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
The thing I enjoy most is definitely people management. I like being a leader out here in the Colorado market. I like having people come to me for advice, so I'd say that's probably the thing I enjoy the most.
Definitely with this role in food service, I like the customer base more than I did in retail. I think they think of you more as a partner, whereas retail thinks of you more as a distributor and comes to you with more issues.
I would say that and the flexibility, right? As a senior manager, I get to really map out and do what I think is most effective for the week, and no one really questions that, which I enjoy.
