Video Highlights

1. Difficulty finding internal support: Team members are often busy with their own projects, making it challenging to get assistance when needed.

2. Importance of self-motivation and resourcefulness: The role requires being a self-starter and actively seeking solutions through articles and external contacts.

3. Lack of direct guidance: Unlike a classroom setting, there's no readily available instructor, so persistence and diverse help-seeking strategies are crucial.

What is your biggest challenge in your role?

Sometimes it's challenging to find help within your job, so you have to be very self-motivated and a go-getter. It's often difficult to find resources for help when I'm stumped.

I have to read a lot of articles or reference people I may have known outside of my job and ask them for different ways of thinking. A lot of the time, people on different teams are working on different projects, so they're really busy in their day-to-day and may not be able to support you as much as you need.

That's one of the biggest adjustments. You don't have a teacher there to walk you through things or guide you. You can't just go up after class to office hours and get help. It's kind of on you to be persistent, not a pest, but persistent in asking different people for help or finding different outlets.
