What do you enjoy most about being in the education industry?
I think just being able to see your immediate impact, whether it's as a classroom teacher, or working in education advocacy, or in education technology. It's an industry in which you can see the results of your work pretty immediately.
This could be over the course of a class period, or over a couple of months working with a certain partner. You can also see the development and benefit of a product that you're supporting at a school over the course of a year.
It's also an industry that's pretty data-driven and changing a lot. I really enjoy the immediacy of seeing impact, as well as the general development of the industry and where it's going.
There's a constant push for things to be better. I feel like there's a lot of innovation in it, which is cool to experience and be part of in different roles.
