What do you enjoy most about your job role?

That's a good question. People derive value from their jobs in many different ways.

I'm very passionate about sustainability and the climate crisis. It's rewarding for me to know I'm helping companies incrementally improve their sustainability programming and operations. This means I'm contributing to making a difference in how companies operate more sustainably, or at least helping them start that journey.

More often than not, you'll work with people who are also passionate about this topic. This intellectual stimulation and curiosity are valuable, especially when building something from scratch and helping clients identify opportunities for improvement in their operational activities.

If you're a data person, this is a great world to be in. I enjoy working with data and spreadsheets, and that's a significant part of the role.

However, there's also a need for softer skills like communication. You'll be building decks, using PowerPoint, and giving presentations, which is another component I enjoy.

Ultimately, everyone is different and derives value from their job in unique ways.
