What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?

The biggest lesson I've learned is that even though I came into this position with a full fire academy and my paramedic license, there's always room for improvement. This comes with trainings and on-the-job experience.

I like to think that I'm always training and always learning more. You're never just going to stop training.

So, until my career is over, and maybe even after, I'm always going to be improving my skills, not only as a firefighter but also, you never really stop learning.
