Favorite Parts of Working in the Real Estate Industry as a CEO
Carl enjoys the visual nature of the residential real estate industry, where "you actually see the finished product of someone's work" and draw inspiration from direct comparisons; moreover, the collaborative spirit, driven by the shared incentive to increase overall property values, makes it a fulfilling field.

What do you enjoy the most about being in your industry?
Being in my industry is fun. I'm in real estate, specifically residential. It's fun because it's very visual.
A lot of people and colleagues show their wins, and you can pick up on things and compare. It's one of the few industries or roles where you actually see the finished product of someone's work and can get inspired by it.
If I'm building a house and someone else is building a house, it's a one-to-one comparison of the end result. It's also very collaborative for the most part. We share resources a lot.
The way it's set up is if your property is worth more and it's in my neighborhood, then my property is going to be worth more because it's a comparable. We're really encouraged to work together to increase the general value, the overall value for everybody. That's my favorite thing.
