What did you do in undergrad to set you up for success in your career?
That's a good question, especially because my undergrad experience wasn't really directly related to what I do now. I think there were a lot of soft skills that I developed and honed in college that have paid dividends in my career.
Things like communication, clear writing, and staying organized. College is very much a self-directed learning environment.
You have to show up for class, do your homework, and write your essays. There's also a much bigger focus on collaborating with your peers and working as a team.
I think really learning and focusing on those skills has been incredibly helpful to me throughout my career.
