What are some of the biggest challenges within your current role?
I would say it's not something specific to this role, but as you learn more about a position and an organization, there is a lot of politics involved. You have to understand what you can accomplish versus what is constrained by other individuals.
I think that's one challenge, not just where I'm at currently but in every place I've been. Specifically for this role, I come from a financial background, but a lot of my clients do not.
One of the fun challenges is being able to explain complex financial concepts to a customer base that might not otherwise understand them. It's about translating it for them.
