Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
Right after undergrad, I joined Teach for America as a fifth-grade math teacher in Atlanta. I was in the classroom for two years and decided to extend my time there for an additional year.
After finishing in the classroom, I joined Teach for America's full-time national recruiting staff to attract diverse talent. From there, I knew the classroom wasn't my permanent place, but education was.
So, I pursued an MBA at Washington University in St. Louis. There, I worked with companies including Calypso, Rockwell Automation's consulting wing, and Friday, an education startup.
During my MBA, I was also the director of a program within the Schusterman Family Foundation, a philanthropic organization that works to increase understanding of Jewish principles in the US. I've had a diverse background of experiences during my MBA.
Following my MBA, I joined 3M as a strategist in their leadership development program, commonly called Strategy and Marketing Development. That is where I currently am.
