As someone who identifies as female, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?
Being a female in a male-dominated industry like tech sales, there aren't a lot of women in this space. Almost all of the companies I've worked for previously, I’ve been the only female on a team of 13 males.
My current company, I'm one of two females on a team of 20. So, my biggest piece of advice is to make sure that when you're looking at companies, there are females in management and essentially at every level in your organization.
This way, you have people to look up to and internal champions. You know that you have the ability to grow and be promoted into those roles. This helps ensure you have a plan set forth so you're not struggling in a male-dominated space.
