Bri, could you walk me through your career path? I'd like to start with your experiences in college, and any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

Sure. I attended the University of Arizona, entering as a double major in biochemistry. My intention was to become a dermatologist.

During college, my first internship was with my OB/GYN, where I did front and back office work. I was also the executive assistant for a retail company in Tucson.

After that summer, I realized I wanted to work in business, and that science wasn't for me. The next summer, I interned for a commercial real estate company. I went back to school and realized I wanted to graduate.

I finished with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, specifically in Care, Health, and Society. It was still in the science space, but upon graduation, I realized I really wanted to get into medical sales. I quickly learned that you need sales experience before entering that industry.

So, I started working for a luxury fitness brand called Equinox. They have a phenomenal training program if you want to get your feet wet in sales; I highly recommend it. From there, I moved on to retail management for Macy's.

From Macy's, I finally succeeded in getting into medical sales. I worked for a company called In Fab, specializing in radiation protection. My territory for In Fab covered the Bay Area, all of Northern California.

Inevitably, I got recruited into the tech space. I started working for a startup called Vaca, which specializes in physical security using AI. Then I migrated over to my current company, Ambient AI, which is in a similar space.
