What have you learned about this role that you wish somebody would have told you before you entered the industry?
As far as accounting goes, it's a lot of work in the beginning, but in the end, I do think it is worth it. If you like to learn and use your brain, then accounting is a good field to go into.
You can grow in it; you don't have to stay in one bucket. There are so many different fields under the accounting umbrella, whether it's tax, corporate, public, or lease accounting, or being a controller. There are so many different areas you can go into, so don't feel like you have to stick to just one area of accounting.
