What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
This is a private equity firm, and I work with many investment professionals. It's quite refreshing to see such brilliant minds when I come to work.
Not only that, but for my job, which I think is unique to the industry, there are such caring and charismatic people in this company. As far as the industry is concerned, coming to work and seeing such smart people—whom I didn't grow up around or experience as a child—is impactful.
I see how they use their brains to keep the business running, acquire new businesses, build them up, and eventually sell them off. They also give back to the community tremendously at this company. That would be the biggest thing for me.
