Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
In college, I majored in pre-med, focusing on physiology and public health. I also held a few jobs completely unrelated to medicine during my undergraduate studies.
More towards the end of my undergrad, I started getting more involved in hospital work. I had a few internships with local nonprofit organizations focused on health and outreach, specifically within my public health field.
As I was doing that, I applied to medical school, got in, and then went through medical school. Now I'm in residency in Columbus, Ohio.
