Transcript
What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The nature of acquisitions and divestitures is inherently complex. Each company we acquire or divest has its own baggage and processes.
Our job is to figure out how to acclimate them to Google's way of doing things and get them up to speed with Google processes. We need to do this without hampering their business.
The nature of this work is very complex, and there's never one right answer when you're trying to get from point A to point B. You have to be very iterative.
Be open to changing paths and understanding the challenges for everyone involved, not just yourself.
