Q8: Who thrives in industry?
How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I would say the people that thrive the most within film and television are self-motivated, self-starters. They are independent, but also work really well on teams.
You have to have a strong sense of self and confidence if you want to move up within the entertainment industry. But you also need to be humble and able to work with other people in order to move up.
The number one thing would probably be to be self-motivated, because no one is going to walk you through Hollywood and give you the job you want if you're not trying. If you have a goal in mind and do everything you can to accomplish it, you'll get there eventually.
