What are your main responsibilities within your role?
As a solution engineer, my primary responsibility is demonstrating our technology to customers. This typically involves software demos and answering technical questions about what our software can do and how it fits into a customer's existing architecture. For example, customers might ask how our product connects to their existing Product A.
Day-to-day responsibilities can differ. I also work with internal sales representatives and product teams to stay up-to-date on our offerings. Ultimately, however, conducting demos and meeting with customers is my primary responsibility.
It's a sales-adjacent role, so ensuring customers purchase the software is also part of my job.
