I like the varied nature of the day-to-day. The responsibility you get from the associate level on up is significant, as it's really a flat organization.

You do as much as your experience allows, and then you lean on more senior colleagues to fill those gaps. It's exciting.

You're working with founders to buy their companies or purchasing another company, making a big investment. You have to know what's going to happen and plan for the future to ensure it works out.

There's a lot of excitement and stress surrounding that, but at the end of the day, it gets you revved up.
