What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge, I'd say, is that it's a high-stress role. Private equity is very "up or out." You either perform extremely well and get to the next level, and then it all resets, or you're out and have to find a new role.
Current market conditions in 2024 make fundraising tough, which means it's even more competitive. But at the end of the day, that's what you get when you have so much freedom to make an impact.
It's your job to make that impact and find where you can add value. But yeah, that's the biggest challenge.
