Transcript
What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
My main responsibilities in my current role are to ensure the movie gets finished. This can mean a lot of things.
The most important thing I do is set up editorial offices. I make sure that at every stage of editorial—the editing of the picture and sound of a film—we are making the best use of our resources and that artists feel supported in the work they are making.
Aside from that, I also ensure we meet all the technical standards required for delivery to theaters and streaming platforms worldwide. This requires quite a bit of attention to detail and an ability to focus for sustained periods of time.
Essentially, I make sure that the movie you see on screen looks and sounds the best it possibly can and arrived at the right time.
