Jen, what is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge, I would say, is dealing with processes that aren't always the most efficient. It's a process, and there's no way around it.
Currently, a lot of our projects are schedule-driven. There's a certain amount of time it takes to route contracts and get funding in place, and there's a process for all of that. Everything is a time crunch, but there's no way to expedite these processes.
You have to do your best factoring that in. Also, managing stakeholder expectations can be challenging. They're the ones who want things fast, and while they know about the process challenges, managing their expectations on delivery timelines while you're going through the process can be difficult. We deal with it all the time.
