What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate college student might consider pursuing?
Every job at every company has a different title for the same thing. But usually, there are what we call Design Engineers.
Really? I think I've mostly dealt with Design Engineers. It's just "Design Engineer One, Two, Three, Four," essentially. It's like the first four years when you're out of college, building up until you can take your professional engineering license.
And so this kind of, you're just looking for that "Design Engineer One." Just, like I said earlier, take the patience and no ego. Learn from all the people you can and get your PE. That's kind of where you really work towards. And then, once you do that, that's how you can really start moving up in the field.
