What do you enjoy most about being in the professional services industry?

In addition to how dynamic it is, which I touched on earlier, I really like how applicable the skills are. While professional services can sound general, you essentially become very good at critical thinking and problem-solving.

In professional services, you are very adaptable and gain a lot of knowledge about the business world and different industries you consult for. This knowledge can be applied later within professional services itself, or if you decide to pivot to a different industry or career path.

The minute details may not transfer, but the general idea of what you are doing is applicable and useful everywhere. Generally being good at problem-solving, analysis, and quickly and effectively figuring out how something works is something you can take anywhere. That's probably my favorite thing about being in professional services.
