What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
The biggest surprise for me has been seeing the impact on patients' lives. Providing medicines is a core function, and I'm sure at some companies, you don't always get to see how it affects caregivers, patients, or the community.
Working for a smaller biopharmaceutical company has allowed us to directly see, hear, feel, and touch the experiences of our patients. We can understand the impact and significant change our medicines bring to a considerable number of them. That has been quite rewarding.
