What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
One of my favorite things about being an auditor, throughout my career, is my exposure to different industries. It's quite amazing because I get to work with companies in various sectors, like consumer and manufacturing.
You also get to talk to people at all levels. It's never boring because while you might think you're doing the same thing, you're actually learning about new industries and how they operate. I personally find that very intriguing.
You move from manufacturing, learn about the materials they use, and see how these companies are so different, serving distinct aspects of the population. I love to see how everything comes together across these different industries.
I also enjoy meeting and interacting with people I wouldn't normally encounter in my daily life. These are people from across the country and even the world.
It's also interesting to be able to keep up to date with what's happening in the economy. It's a continuous learning experience for me, and that keeps me interested and curious about what I'll learn next. Even when you've worked with a company for a long time, there's always more to learn because of the changing environment. I really enjoy that about my job.
