What entry-level positions in this field might an undergraduate college student consider?
I have seen customer success internships at my company. However, most people here started either as a customer success associate or in a completely different sector.
My previous role was very people-focused, data-focused, and education-focused. I think those three components brought diverse individuals to customer success.
That's why I like it; everyone comes from very different backgrounds. Those who have prior professional experience before trying to switch careers often start as a customer success manager or senior customer success manager.
