What is your biggest challenge in your role?
My biggest challenge is time management. There are many things to do and not enough time.
It's about carving out the time to ensure the team is getting everything they need. We are marching towards hitting our targets, as well as making time for data and reporting. This helps ensure we are going in the right direction and can make any necessary tweaks or changes.
We also need to think ahead to what we want to do next week, next month, or next quarter to continue on a path forward. This includes being able to pivot quickly when a customer situation arises. Sometimes I have to drop everything and hop on a call with a customer or find a path forward for them.
Days can be unpredictable. You might start your day intending to do one thing and end up doing something totally different. Being on your toes is the biggest piece of that.
But again, the big challenge is time management. I'd say this is true for most jobs, but in this role, I feel there's more on my plate than in other roles. Managing time effectively is really important.
