What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I wouldn't say there's one singularly significant thing in my career. But definitely, in life as a whole, it's to know that there's no one path to achieve your goals. So, just be open to rerouting.
A lot of things will happen in life that are unexpected, and it's totally okay. I know especially people who are planners, like I was early on, and you want to have your three-year plan, five-year plan, or whatever. Life is not a straight line, and it isn't always going to go the way you want it to.
So, just know that it's a crazy maze, and that's totally normal. I think living in the moment a little bit more was a big lesson for me. I'm 100% like that now, but that was a big lesson for me: just appreciating where I'm at.
Obviously, setting goals for yourself is important, but in the grand scheme of things, we're all just out here trying to live life and survive together. So, if things don't pan out the way you wanted, it's totally okay.
