What is your biggest challenge in your role?
There's definitely a high volume of work that comes with any music industry job, and my team is quite small. We only have about 30 full-time people working at the venue.
So it's just a constant high volume of work. We have about a hundred shows that come through the building, and then on top of that, special events, events in our parking lot, and promotional shoots. It's just a very high volume of work.
There isn't really a down season. We operate 365 days a year. So the high volume of work, coupled with an intense schedule that's definitely not nine to five, is the most difficult part.
We work Monday through Friday, and then if we have a show on Saturday or Sunday, we're working those days as well. Getting used to that schedule and just not having a normal nine to five role is probably the most difficult part.
