What do you enjoy most about being in your role?
In my current role, I enjoy that it's remote and that I get to do something different every day. Outside of meetings, I decide how to run my projects.
I'm more of an individual contributor and feel I can make an impact by being a servant leader. My goal is to make things easier for frontline staff or patients.
This is because we're creating, developing, or enhancing something that will improve their experience within the health system. For example, if we can ensure patients have their health data in a safe, portable, compliant way, they can share it with different providers for better care coordination.
We also prioritize protecting patient privacy. Much of the behind-the-scenes work to ensure all patients are protected relates to the IT component of my job.
