What sort of skills are most important for a job like yours?

In terms of skills, it's open-minded, fast-paced, and you'll be responsible for a lot. If you want specific skills, I'd say communication is key again.

As a program manager, that's the bulk of your job, on top of organization. The ability to manage multiple different personalities is always going to be a big one.

I think that's for any position, but particularly for this one because you're working with several team members, and each of them has a different working style.

You'll need a lot of patience and follow-up. Ultimately, you need to be kind. For the caliber you are as a program manager, you do have to be very respectful in the way you communicate with others.

This is especially true because you do contact executives. So, that executive presence is also going to be very important. Overall, just make sure you have confidence in yourself, and the rest will come.
